Onboarding

Please follow the steps below to complete onboarding.
Complete the steps that apply to your package.

  • Go to: https://business.facebook.com/latest/settings

    Make sure the correct Business Manager is selected in the top left corner.

    Within your Business Manager you should have:

    • Facebook Page

    • Ad Account

    • Pixel / Dataset

    • Commerce Account (if applicable)

    If your Facebook Page isn’t showing but you have a page, it’s likely in a different Business Manager and needs to be transferred. Message us and we’ll guide you through this.

    If you don’t have an Ad Account — create one. If you have one but it’s not showing, check your other Business Managers or create a fresh one.

    If you don’t have a Pixel / Dataset — this is important. We need access to the one that has been on your website the longest. If it’s in a different Business Manager it will need to be transferred. If you’ve never had one, create a new one and we can connect it to your website.

    Once all assets are in place, go to Users & Partners and add us as a partner using ID: 2146775465583733

    Permissions needed:

    • Ad Account — Ads and Insights

    • Page — Ads and Insights

    • Dataset / Pixel — Full permissions

    Full marketing package — Full permissions on everything including Page management

    If Meta won’t allow partner sharing yet (recently added pixel), please add hello@fortyandco.com as a user directly. This is temporary — we’ll be removed once partner access is granted.

  • Go to: https://ads.google.com/nav/selectaccount

    Select your account then go to Admin > Access and Security > Managers tab

    Add us as a manager: fortyandcomaster@gmail.com

    Then go to the Users tab and add both of these as Standard Users:

    fortyandcomaster@gmail.com

    fortyandcoteam@gmail.com

  • Go to: https://analytics.google.com/

    Admin > Account Access Management

    Add these two users;

    fortyandcomaster@gmail.com — Admin

    fortyandcoteam@gmail.com — Editor

  • Go to: https://tagmanager.google.com/

    Admin > User Management — add both emails with Publish permissions

    Add these two users;

    fortyandcomaster@gmail.com

    fortyandcoteam@gmail.com

  • Go to: https://merchants.google.com/

    Access and Services — add both emails with Admin, Standard, and Performance & Insights permissions

    Add these two users;

    fortyandcomaster@gmail.com

    fortyandcoteam@gmail.com

  • Go to Settings > Users and Permissions

    Send us your 4-digit Collaborator Request Code. We will then request access and you will receive an email that needs accepting.

  • Please add us as a user on your email platform. If you don’t have multiple users and need to share you login, please send the details securely via Slack.

    If it’s part of Shopify, then we’ll make sure our permissions cover access.

  • If you have brand assets, photography, or video, please share the folder with:

    fortyandcomaster@gmail.com

    fortyandcoteam@gmail.com

  • Go to: https://business.facebook.com/latest/settings

    Make sure the correct Business Manager is selected in the top left corner.

    Go to Users & Partners and add us as a partner using ID: 2146775465583733

    Permissions needed:

    Page — Full permissions (including Page management)

    If your Facebook Page is linked to an Instagram account, please also add us to that within the same Business Manager. This allows us to manage both from one place.

    If Meta won’t allow partner sharing yet, please add hello@fortyandco.com as a user directly. This is temporary — we’ll be removed once partner access is granted.

  • To carry out certain actions on Instagram, we need direct login access. This includes posting interactive stories (polls, questions, countdowns), adding links, engaging with your audience, and updating account settings — things that can’t be done through third-party tools.

    Please share your Instagram password with us. The easiest way to do this securely is to write it down and send us a photo of it via Slack. Once received, we store it in our secure password manager, Keeper, and the image is immediately deleted.

    Please note: when we log in you may receive an approval notification from Instagram — please approve this to allow access.
